Recently treated to an exhaust and rear suspension rebuild
Enormous paperwork file
The Appeal
If Mercedes-Benz were already known for their rock-solid build quality, it's arguably the W123 that cemented their reputation. These cars are incredibly comfortable, capable workhorses, and were soon roaming across Europe as taxis and executive limos in such numbers that they were officially the most successful car they'd ever sold. At a time when most cars were lucky to manage 100,000 miles, it wasn't underheard of for a W123 to manage 600,000.
This example is a particularly fine specimen of the much-loved classic, and is accompanied by a positively huge paperwork file, showcasing the car's very comfortable life. It's recently undergone some mechanical work, and has travelled less than 10,000 miles since 2009 - as proven by that impressive service history.
With their reputation for gobbling up the miles, this lightly used W123 is a particularly rare prospect.
