The Appeal

If the Landy is the ultimate, best-of-British 'do anything' off-roader, the County presents the last bastion of that authentic, austere Solihull experience. While this is still a reassuringly analogue piece of working machinery at its core, the County was a lightly refined, lightly revised car that was more capable of fighting off international competition - bridging the gap between the original Land Rover formula and priming the world for the upcoming, much-loved Defender.

This fine 1984 example is highly original, and has been a much-loved workhorse for the same family for over thirty years. Comprehensive welding work has been undertaken to keep it in good, solid order and there's plenty of years ahead of it - this is a great opportunity to take on an evocative, patina'd Land Rover that's as charming as it is practical.
