The Appeal

One of the most significant roadsters of the past fifty years, the Mercedes-Benz R107 is an exercise in what made the company one of the most car-builders in the world. Opting for a long, cruising body with a comfortable cabin soon resulted in this cars becoming a regular sight in Miami and the Hollywood Hills - and they're still pretty impressive headturners today.

This example, from 1983, carries an impressive two-tone green colour scheme right across from the bodywork to the soft top and the cabin. It's a really evocative shade - endlessly eighties - and really suits the car's lines. This is a relatively scarce example with a manual gearbox, and is accompanied by a comprehensive history of its last few years.

This lovely example has recently passed an MOT test at Cotswold Classic Restorations - so the lucky new buyer will find it ready and waiting to hit the road.
