Highlights
· Solid and standard 924
· Very low mileage car
· Original & presentable with scope to improve
· Porsche Certificate of Authenticity
· Long term enthusiast owner
The Appeal
For some the 924 was a major departure for the firm, a front-engined coupe that slotted in some way below the 911 in terms of performance.
But enthusiast have latterly rethought that view and discovered a sports car that is not just highly competent but fits neatly into the early ethos of Ferdinand Porsche, which valued small engines and lightness over big bhp.
Porsche evolved the 924 with added luxury, which this 1981 example benefits from. Smart lattice alloys, sunroof and electric windows are part of the appeal of this solid, original and presentable car. It is a very low mileage model so a perfect base for using and improving.
