The Appeal

Reintroducing the legendary ‘SC’ nomenclature connected Porsche’s new model to its 356 forebears. This was a 911 that could be enjoyed every day - quick enough to excite, comfortable enough to drive long distances.
Finished in gorgeous light blue metallic, this ‘81 911SC has been used very sparingly over its 43 years, covering a mere 50,000 miles in that time. The lack of use hasn’t meant corners cut on maintenance - the history file is bulging, covering major and minor work including an engine overhaul, custom stainless steel exhaust and fully refurbished and polybushed suspension.
That investment and those sympathetic modifications mean that this is a classic 911 that is ready to enjoy. The condition reflects the low mileage, the cream leather interior being well presented and drizzled with some tasteful modifications.
This car is registered as a Historic Vehicle but has been usefully regularly MOT’d to give the buyer an independent assessment of the condition and mileage verification. The current test runs to May 2025 with no advisories.
With its popular specification and Targa-topped versatility, this very low mileage 911 is one of the best we have seen.
