Designed by British Leyland legend Harris Mann, the Triumph TR7 is a prime example of "wedge" design language at its finest. Powered by a sporting 2.0-litre engine, paired (in later examples) with a five-speed manual gearbox, the TR7 proved a capable little sports car. In convertible form, it proved immensely popular.
We're informed that this 1980 example was originally registered in the UK, despite being left-hand drive. It later made its way to Spain where it has reportedly had just two former registered keepers.
The vehicle's originality is one of its most compelling features. It's exceedingly original to its period specifications inside and out and does not appear to have ever undergone substantial restoration work. The car's mechanicals are reported to be in fine fettle, with the engine starting reliably in both cold and hot conditions and the gearbox shifting smoothly.
Overall, this TR7 is a well-preserved example that promises to deliver the authentic classic British motoring experience.
