The Appeal

The advent of the Silver Shadow marked the dawn of a new era for Rolls-Royce. The J.P. Blatchley slab-sided design was the first monocoque car to come out of Crewe, and it was built with modern roads in mind. Exponentially more usable than its predecessor, the Silver Cloud, the Shadow sold immensely well and went on to be the firm's most successful model to date.

This 1980 example looks fantastic and is commendably original for its age. The vendor reports that it runs and drives very well, having used the car over the past year without encountering any significant issues. While little is known of its history, the Rolls has clearly been well cared for, making it a great buy for those looking for one of these fantastic luxury cars.
