The Appeal
This Mercedes-Benz 450 SL started life being sold in the US, before coming back to Europe more recently. It is now located in the Netherlands, having been imported with all duties paid.
It has benefitted from a respray which gives it a fresh, smart appearance. This complements the original brown interior, which remains in excellent condition. The cabin is very luxuriously appointed for a car of 1980, with futuristic features such as cruise control and electronic climate control.
In all, this appears to be a very desirable 450 SL, with its capable V8 engine under the bonnet and automatic transmission allowing for easy, trouble-free driving. What better choice for popping to the shops, then popping across the Alps whenever the fancy takes you?
