The Appeal

Introduced to the market in 1971, the third-generation SL vehicles had rather large shoes to fill, following the success of the iconic W113. Fortunately, the new generation, named the R107, would prove to be incredibly popular, thanks to a host of new mechanical, comfort and styling tweaks. In fact, the R107 would become one of Mercedes-Benz’s longest-running production models to date.
