The Appeal
This brilliant little van was imported into the UK in early 2014, and although far from concours condition, it has a stunning amount of character and charm. It is sure to put smiles on faces wherever it goes. At some point it has been used as a coffee van, and as such it is set up in the rear for this use with electric and gas, and could no doubt be put to use in a number of possible business roles, or just used for pleasure. A really nice, unmolested original machine, this van is sure to please with its character and style.
The van was imported from SPAIN and as it lived in a very dry climate there is very little corrosion which blights some of these vehicles.

- The electric grinder is also there to prepare the beans and the van is equipped with drawers for sugar, milk cartons etc.
- The Expresso machine is powered by either the gas boiler installed or direct onto 240v mains or a generator. The pumps and the grinder are supplied via an inverter from a quality 12v battery and the water is supplied from a water bottle via a low pressure pump to the high pressure expresso machine.
The Exterior
- The brilliant patina continues to the exterior, which has been finished in an excellent shade of blue
- It appears to have been repainted, as the vehicle was originally yellow
- There is a lot of dents and dings to the bodywork, with some fairly major in places, however considering the overall feel and condition, these are all character building and a future keeper may wish leave the bodywork as it is
- One of the headlight surrounds is missing

- The brilliant original steel 3 bolt wheels are all present and very solid, with no major damage or dents
- The van body has a brilliant feel and character to it, and it makes for a real head turner
- The sliding windows in the sides are a great feature
- Overall, a very cool, strong patina where every dent and scrape tells a story, bursting at the seams with character
The Mechanics
- Everything complete and present
- Very solid
- Some corrosion is present as you would expect for an older unrestored vehicle however nothing major
- The engine bay all looks to be present and correct
- The engine is not the cleanest but appears to have been well maintained and the top hat and pipework is all relatively clean
- No splits or damage are visible on the pipework
- The wiring appears to be in good condition and it has a modern Napa battery fitted
- The underside of the bonnet does have some corrosion however this could be easily treated and left as more patina or fully restored
- The plucky little 600cc engine makes for a very authentic classic Citroën experience
