The Appeal
Beyond all else, the MG Midget means fun. These lightweight, perky cars are the ultimate go-kart on the road and benefit from their sheer simplicity. For many enthusiasts, a Midget was their first exposure to the Great British roadster - and it often left quite the impact.
Family owned from new, this 1979 example has been subject to a two-stage restoration - the first in 2011, and the second from 2021 onwards. The engine's been rebuilt, plenty of new parts have been fitted and that vibrant yellow paintwork is just as striking as it always was.
This eminently usable car is bound to charm its new owner as readily as the family that has cherished it for its full forty-five years.
