Higlights
- Series 1 with 2-litre engine very rare and original
- Coupé designed and built by Pininfarina
- In very good condition and in an attractive light blue colour scheme
- Overhauled in March 2023
The Appeal
The Gamma was bold and innovative as only a Lancia could be. Pininfarina's unmistakable and refined design made the most of the characteristics of the innovative flat 'Boxer' engine, resulting in an elegant car with a low bonnet line and steeply raked windscreen.
Only 1,978 Series 1 coupés with 2-litre engines like this one were built, all assembled by Pininfarina together with the contemporary Ferrari 400. These early cars had carburettor-powered engines and 5-speed gearboxes, as well as a host of fascinating details such as velvet seats with Lancia 'L' logo fabric and uniquely designed alloy wheels.
This beautiful metallic blue 1979 car retains all these particularly desirable features. It is presented in collector's condition, a low-mileage car that appears to have been very little used in every respect. It is offered for sale with an MOT dated March 2023.
The Gamma Coupe is a very special Italian classic and rare to find in this condition.
