The Appeal
Considered by many to be the first 'superbike', the Honda CB750 broke new ground in motorbike engineering and was one of the first motorbikes of its time to reach speeds of 200 km/h in front of the international press. It used a four-cylinder engine with twin overhead camshafts, which provided plenty of power and torque. Now at the top of virtually every classic Japanese motorbike collector's wish list, the CB750 is highly sought-after, and we are delighted to offer a superbly restored example.
The seller states that nearly 95% of the parts on this Honda have been replaced with new, ex-stock components. The paintwork is flawless and identical to the original, applied in no fewer than seven separate coats. The seller also mentions that several parts fitted during the restoration are now almost impossible to find, making this bike potentially unique in its condition. In addition, the bike is sold with a large stock of new parts. Similarly, the mechanical elements have been overhauled with new parts, including the instrumentation complete with speedo.
