THE APPEAL
Picture yourself back in 1979 when, as the high achieving salesperson, you had the chance to own a company car like the Ford Cortina. If you were extra good at your job, it could have been upgraded to a model like we have here today, the Mk4 Cortina 2.0L Ghia, up there with the crème de la crème of the Cortina range.
This is a genuine survivor, an untouched, low-mileage example of the wonderful Cortina 2.0L Ghia. The car was purchased new and then family-owned until 2017. The collector, who then purchased the classic Mk4 Cortina, recommissioned it and added it to his collection until 2020, when our vendor purchased it. Since 2020 the car has had some service work carried out, a new timing belt and new tyres, ensuring everything is as it should be.
