The Appeal

The 2nd generation Camaro is, to modern eyes, far more than a single generation of car. This is a huge transitionary period for the model, one that changed every year and morphed into a whopping, great urethane-bumpered, V8-powered muscle car that was about as brash and capable as they came.

This example is the high-performance Z28, featuring the legendary 5.7-Litre LM1 V8 powerplant. That's still an impressive, desirable bit of hardware today - and when loaded into this aggressive bodywork, it's quite a seductive prospect. Thoughtfully upgraded, matching numbers and with an equally brash Carmine red livery, this long-nosed, high-octane car may well be one of the finest examples of its type available - and we're sure will garner plenty of very well-deserved interest.
