A lesser-known but well-respected interpretation of the 'beach buggy' concept, the Belgian-built Apal was a popular conversion of the Volkswagen Beetle used in the 1960s and 1970s.

This 1978 example appears to be in generally good condition, and the vendor informs us that it is in very good driving order. Particularly noteworthy is the recent installation of a replacement engine, which according to the vendor has only covered 500 km.
