The Appeal

The Silver Shadow II delivered light cosmetic updates, but the real changes were hidden: these cars got sharper rack and pinion steering and improved suspension that tightened up the handling. The result is a better can with all the stylish qualities of the original.

This 1978 ‘II’ is finished in the rare combination of ivory with brown Everflex roof. It has been in the hands of the current keeper - the fifth - since 1991 and has covered few miles for its years.

The car is complete, but has covered few miles since the last MOT in 2006 so will require restoration and recommissioning. For the right buyer this looks like an interesting project to return this hand-built saloon back to glory.
