The Attractions
The P series represented the first important evolutionary step of the original Vespa. It featured a modern and markedly different design, and was a scooter of more generous dimensions than the previous Vespa models and with far superior equipment. At the time of its launch, some purists did not welcome it with great enthusiasm, but today versions such as the P 200 E are sought-after collectors' vehicles, like their older sisters. Mechanically, the changes were less revolutionary, but the 200 cc engine offered by the P 200 E made it much more capable of coping with long journeys and trips than most scooters of the time.
Registered in Italy and bearing the ASI-FIVA Certificate of Historical Significance, this 1978 Vespa appears remarkably original and has a well-documented history. It has been carefully kept, always garage-kept and rarely ridden after being repainted, which certainly makes it interesting and attractive to any enthusiast or collector.
