1978 MG Midget 1500

Highlights

  • Restored 1500 in excellent condition
  • Good quality chrome bumper conversion
  • Retrimmed interior in ‘as new’ condition
  • Just six registered keepers
  • Pretty and very usable British convertible

The Appeal

What a shame we don’t make cars like this little Midget any more. Simple, fun and pretty too, these unassuming British sports cars were and are the very definition of carefree fun.
Not surprisingly, the Midget remained in production for many years through several evolutions. This pretty restored 1978 evokes the best of those changes. It is a ‘rubber bumper, square arch’ 1500cc later car that has been carefully restored to an earlier aesthetic with wire wheels and chrome bumpers.
The work has been done to a good standard and is comprehensive, also including a retrimmed interior. This is a very attractive and appealing car where the buyer can benefit from all that work and investment.
