The Appeal
The Mercedes-Benz 107 needs no introduction. The SLC coupe was introduced alongside its roadster counterpart in 1971 and, while it didn’t hit the same numbers, it was still a big success for the German manufacturer, with the exact same genetic makeup. Superb availability, good reliability and sharp lines make for a coupe with class.
This example, painted in white, comes to us in very good condition - clearly well cared for, and coming from the Japanese import market, where the roads are salt-free. As a result, it’s doing little to betray its age.
