The Attractions
Launched in 1974 to replace the hugely successful 124, the new Fiat 131 offered more space and practicality than its predecessor, while retaining its dynamic and sporty layout. As the launch of the 131 coincided with a global oil crisis, sales were initially lower than Fiat had anticipated, but during its ten years of production it became a very popular model. For this reason, examples of the First Series are quite rare, and we are particularly pleased to present one of them, a 1978 131 with a 1.6-litre engine.
The vendor bought this car with only two previous owners three years ago and has since carried out various maintenance and tuning work on it. He informed us that today it is a very reliable car and surprisingly economical to run, which proves to be a good classic car that is also suitable for everyday use. It is very rare to find such original and well-maintained 131s for sale, so don't miss this interesting opportunity.
