The Appeal

Penned by an Italian and engineered by Britain’s sporting car specialist, the burbletastic four-seat Triumph Stag has it all. Good survivors benefit from an enthusiastic owner and specialist scene, which makes buying one a great alternative to some of the more common options from Germany or France.
This late model Mk2 Java Green car leans into the stand-out character that makes a well-sorted Stag so appealing. It has been restored in the past - it retains its BMIHT-certified colour scheme - and clearly maintained well, a thick history file showing regular servicing plus attention to brakes, bearings and other running requirements.
Age means it is usefully MOT and tax exempt but it has equally helpfully been regularly MOT’d to give the buyer an independent assessment of the condition. The current MOT runs to May 2025 with no advisories.
Equipped with a relaxing automatic gearbox and the versatility of soft and hard tops, this looks like a very attractive and usable example of a much-loved British convertible.
