1977 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II

Highlights

  • Genuine mileage
  • Good service history
  • Very little use for last 20 years

The Appeal

In 1977, the model was renamed the Silver Shadow II in recognition of several major changes, most notably rack and pinion steering, while modifications to the front suspension improved handling markedly over the previous model.
A distinctive feature was a high-pressure hydro-pneumatic self levelling suspension system with added dual-circuit braking, which helped deliver that famous Rolls Royce ride comfort and quality.
Externally, the bumpers were changed from chrome to alloy and rubber.
The Silver Shadow II models are probably the best for spirited driving but all models are for gliding along, enjoying the luxurious and ever so comfortable ride.
This car has effectively only had one owner since new, the ownership being transferred from a company into the private name of the driver.
With the owner living mostly in Hong Kong the car has been kept in underground garaging and maintained regularly, always being kept in tip-top mechanical shape, and now just requires some cosmetic renovation to bring it back to its best.
