The Appeal
For those seeking a winter project to pass the time before the weather warms up and the salt is washed from UK roads, this 1977 MGB GT would make an excellent candidate for restoration. Still regarded as the quintessential British sports car, the MGB forged a reputation for being immense fun to drive and affordable to many. This 1977 example has already received a great deal of work, undergoing significant repairs to the bodywork, resulting in a solid shell that appears almost ready for paintwork preparation. The car is accompanied by a large collection of parts which have been carefully removed and stored in readiness for restoration and refitting. The drivetrain is already in situ and appears complete, making this a fantastic starting point for the rewarding process of returning this MG to the road.

- Braided lines and canister-type oil filter fitted

- The radiator hoses are now perished
- Four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive
- The wiring loom is in place although disconnected at the dashboard end
- The engine, gearbox and axles are all in situ
- Running gear and suspension were repainted in red primer following some restoration work
- New brake lines fitted
- The steering column is in place although currently resting on the floor pan
- The exhaust appears quite new and is free from notable corrosion
