The Appeal
After the introduction of the CB750 effectively invented the ‘superbike’ genre, Honda sought to build a range of smaller four-cylinder bikes, of which one was the similarly impressive CB400F - known to most as the ‘400 Four’.
These classic Hondas are immensely sought after among collectors and are amongst the most usable motorcycles of their era. This 1977 example offers a great opportunity for those seeking a small project. While it has evidently undergone some restoration work and is in running order, the bike isn't yet complete so the next owner is left with the rewarding task of returning it to the road. The vendor informs us that the bike is accompanied by a sizeable collection of spares, making this a most compelling proposition.
