The Appeal
A car that dominated motorsport during the early 1970s, the dainty Alpine A110 became an overnight sensation when it won the inaugural FIA World Rally Championship in 1973. Weighing in at no more than a little over 600 kilograms, the A110 proved agile and having its engine sat over the driven rear axle really proved useful on loose surfaces.
This 1977 example is in lovely order, showing off that svelte Michelotti styling with its iconic Alpine blue paintwork. Following a comprehensive recent restoration that's included rally preparation, it's ready to hit the road and hopefully take part in a number of exciting events.
