The Appeal

Behold the burble. Is there a car this side of an exotic with as distinctive and evocative a soundtrack as a Stag?
That lovely V8 is a big part of the car’s appeal. But with their Italian styling, practical four seater layout and smooth and relaxing character, there is much more to Britain’s home-grown R107 rival.
Good examples, therefore, are in demand. This one has been much-loved, remaining in the same family since 1993. It was restored when they first bought it, the work covering a bare metal respray in popular Tahiti Blue plus an engine rebuild. It has clearly been looked after since, sparingly used and treated to further work such as a gearbox rebuild in 2005. Although MOT exempt for some years it is a mark of the keepers’ care that it has been regularly tested anyway. The current test runs to May 2025 with no advisories.
The enthusiast current keeper is only selling because he has decided he no longer needs two of these great cars. With its refurbished walnut trim, relaxing auto box and tidy condition, this svelte car is ready for weekend drives and road trips.
