The Appeal

The Silver Shadow's timeless, stately styling has made it one of the most enduring of Crewe's designs. To this day, it feels remarkably timeless and tasteful - with handsome, palatial cabins capturing a rather handsome gentleman's parlour between the airy, sun-light spilling windows.

Early chrome bumper cars, such as this one, are particularly prized.

Beautifully finished in the ever-enduring 'Triple Blue' specification - including a lovely Everflex roof - this late chrome bumpered car is in very good condition, displaying a gentle patina and a retro charm that's incredibly alluring. It has clearly been cared for and comes with a huge history file, including the original bill of sale.

Leather is well kept with only light creasing to bases - which creates quite the distinguished patina
Black leather dashboard is in good order, with no visible marks to the top or knee roll
Dark burr walnut veneers appear in fine fettle, with no delamination or cracking visible
Centre console mildly adapted to incorporate mirror and relocated period-correct radio cassette
The car is still carrying its factory carpets in dark blue, complete with rear factory footrests
