The Appeal
Developed for the US market and specifically long-distance touring, the Honda Goldwing range boasted powerful high-capacity engines with smooth shaft drive and a supremely comfortable riding position.
The GL1000 was the first of the Goldwings, and it's become a legend among motorcyclists.
This 1976 example is supremely original, finished in the oh-so-'70s hue of Candy Antares Red and sporting a delightful patina.

The bike was imported from the USA and registered in the UK in 2021. Since then, it has been subject to a comprehensive mechanical overhaul which ensures it's as good to ride as it is to look at. Now nearing its fiftieth birthday, this early Goldwing is classed as an historic vehicle and thus benefits from road tax and MOT exemption.
