The Appeal
The BMW 90/6 was borne out of a fierce competition. Performance bikes from Japan were beginning to take over the world - and the German Slash-fives were struggling to keep up. As a result, they brought in the Slash-Sixes, which offered a higher displacement and plenty of extra power to take on the 'invaders' on BMW turf.
The R90/6 carried an 898cc air-cooled boxer engine, with a front disc brake - it was now capable of hitting 100mph with ease and reaching the lofty heights of 115 at a push.
This particular example is adjoined by a beautiful, recently reupholstered 1953 Steib 501 sidecar, which is every bit as engaging and interesting as the bike itself. With only 36,859 miles on the odometer, this is a beautiful setup that's going to turn plenty of heads on the road.

It's not often we see a 90/6, let alone adjoined with a fine sidecar. We're sure this is going to garner plenty of interest.
