The Appeal
The 105/115 Series Spider proved one of Alfa Romeo’s most successful models; combining achingly pretty Pininfarina styling, Giuseppe Busso’s all-alloy twin-cam engine and well-engineered folding roof to great effect.
Produced over four generations from 1966 to 1994, the Spider epitomised Italy’s ‘Dolce Vita’, becoming a style icon the world over. Moreover, it was highly rated by drivers who praised its five-speed gearbox and competitive performance.

Here we have a highly usable and well-sorted Series II example from 1976. Supplied to the UK in right-hand drive and with the largest version of the Nord twin-cam Alfa offered, it boasts an exceedingly desirable specification.
The last owner carried out a great deal of work since they acquired it in 2012, resulting in a Spider that’s ready to drive or become the basis for further cosmetic improvement. Currently located in Ireland, the vendor is willing to assist with transport to the UK or the rest of Europe.
