The Attractions
Although not traditionally produced in Milan, the Alfasud is a true Alfa Romeo in its own right. Packed with refined engineering solutions, satisfying to drive and very practical, the Alfasud is one of the most fun small saloons ever built.
Very few examples have survived, and early 1 Series saloons like this one are particularly rare. It is equipped with the brilliant 1.2-litre version of the famous boxer engine and is a desirable 'Lusso' model, with extra chrome, headrests and a padded dashboard.
This car was produced at the end of 1975 and first registered in January 1976 by its first and only owner. It is finished in a rare and attractive 'Verde Matese' colour. The owner continued to drive it until 1998, when it was taken into custody by a local Fiat dealer. The dealer restored it to pristine condition in 2024, preserving its originality and tuning the mechanics to make it safe and reliable.
Still accompanied by its original documents and number plates, this Alfasud is truly in 'time machine' condition. Very pleasing yet extremely original, it is in as unique a condition as the celebrated driving experience it offers.
