The attraction
It is fair to say that there are plenty of Volkswagen Beetles around. They marked almost 22 million of them, but we bet you won't find many like this one...
Built from an original Karmann Cabriolet base vehicle, this bespoke 'Speedster' echoes the shapes of the rare and largely forgotten Hebmüller-bodied Beetles of the 1940s and 1950s. While Karmann would enjoy a long and fruitful collaboration with Volkswagen, Hebmüller's cabriolets were branded in limited numbers for a very short period. The few remaining examples are now in the hands of wealthy collectors, so we are thrilled to offer the next best thing.
Originally completed a few years ago, this customised Beetle has now been restored to a high standard and finished in a tasteful colour scheme, very appropriate for the era to which it pays homage. Freshly overhauled, road-tested and ready to be enjoyed, this unusual vintage Volkswagen represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
