The Appeal
The Triumph Stag was launched in 1970 and offered 2+2 seating, a luxurious cabin and a V8 engine which was all wrapped up in a stylish package designed by Giovanni Michelotti.
This particular Stag comes in convertible form with an accompanying factory hard top and is presented in fantastic all-round condition for its age, having been recently recommissioned after a long time in dry storage.
Finished in maple Brown with a matching brown interior the Stag has been kept as original as possible and is an excellent example of this sought after Triumph classic which offers relaxed motoring with its automatic gearbox, V8 engine and power steering.
With just over 50,000 miles on the clock and coming with a handwritten notebook detailing its history along with copious amounts of paperwork if you’re in the market for a stylish and classic British sports car, this one certainly fits the bill.

Being kept in long-term dry storage for many years helps to explain the incredible condition of this car, which has had no discernible restoration work done to it at all, other than some minor paint corrections made at some time and being thoroughly recommissioned and fettled by its last two Triumph enthusiast owners.
The car is reported to be an absolute delight to drive, starting on the button every time and is only being sold due to the vendor not having the time to enjoy it as much as he would like.

The alloy wheels are new and unmarked and all have good recent matching rubber fitted with all the lights being nice and clear and free from any cracks or damage.
Both the convertible hood and the hard top fit correctly and snugly to the car and, bearing in mind that the body panels are all original the whole car is in remarkable condition and looks sensational.
