The Appeal

Rover’s P6 is a paean to the art of car building. Technologically advanced, beautifully engineered and equipped with the much-loved Buick V8, these cars are saloon car royalty.
Especially this one. It is exactly the sort of car you want to find if you’re after one of these Rover masterpieces. The mileage is a documented 37,249 miles, it has had just four keepers in its 49 years - remaining in the same family until 2011 - and in 2017 it was treated to an extensive restoration across the bodywork, paintwork and interior.
To add to that appealing list, the current keeper is a genuine enthusiast. This car has wanted for nothing. He has serviced it annually irrespective of mileage, ensured it is also MOT’d each year - even though this is not a legal requirement - and carefully treated rust-prone and hidden components to quality Bilthammer protective wax finish.
In short, this is one very special P6. Finished in Scarab Blue with a Buckskin leather interior, it is a beautifully factory-correct example of these illustrious machines. We don’t think you’ll find a better one easily or soon.

The suspension is compliant and without any unexpected noises over good road surfaces. The general ride quality is very good and a testament to the engineering design Rover employed when the car was manufactured.
“The car is in excellent overall condition and provides an excellent driving experience. I bought the car because of its known history, low mileage and original very good condition. The opportunity is being taken to downsize the classic cars owned, and this Rover is one of the last and best within the collection. Furthermore, enquiries and viewings of the Rover from genuinely interested prospective purchasers are welcomed.”
