The Appeal
Just as Germany had its Volkswagen Type 2, Renault's Estafette was France's answer to a compact commercial vehicle on wheels.
Loved for its versatility and charm, the Estafette is now a popular classic, and many owners are now restoring these vans to their former glory. This 1977 example has been meticulously restored, making it an exceptional example for any enthusiast. The restoration project, carried out by two dedicated friends, has brought this Estafette back to its original specification, preparing it for new adventures.
The work included a complete overhaul of the engine, a professionally redone paint job and the replacement of numerous components. With an MOT valid until August 2025 and matching serial numbers, this van is not only visually appealing, but mechanically sound too.
