The Appeal
For classic 911 enthusiasts, there is a lot of choice when it comes to choosing the ‘best’ version. The original RSR must surely be right up there.
Genuine RSRs are vanishingly rare and astonishingly expensive. That has fuelled army of evocations. The trick when buying a RSR Replica is finding one that has been done to a high standard by people who know what they are doing.
This is just such a car. Converted from a 1975 three-keeper 911S by specialists Caruzo of the South of France, this high specification replica is classically finished in orange and nicely detailed inside and out. Finished in 2022, it has been regularly used since. Thankfully it has never been raced but it is usefully specified to FIA-approved level. It has the go to match the show - the engine and gearbox were rebuilt by Caruzo to RSR specification.
As evocative as it is surely exciting to drive, this beautiful RSR replica is perfect for either road or track entertainment. It is registered in France as a collector car and comes with the reassurance of a long technical inspection valid to April 2026.
