The Appeal
The light, all-aluminium Rover V8 transformed MG’s Pininfarina-penned GT into a potent mini E-Type. Just 2,591 were built. Today they are very sought after because they are perfect for road trips, touring and classic car rallies.
This 1975 car received a bare metal respray around 10 years ago and has been sparingly used ever since. That means it remains in superb condition, its classic red over black colour scheme smart and well kept. With its unmodified, leather-trimmed interior and big folding sunroof, it is perfect for what these versatile cars were built for: driving.
