THE APPEAL
No classic car is easier to own or enjoy than the MGB – a British sports car around which an entire industry of club and specialist support has built up.
Whether you prefer the sporty roadster or the stylish GT, there’s an MGB for everyone.
This one is a genuine example of a mid-1970s GT – one of the last of the chrome bumper cars, finished in Teal Blue, which is one of the most distinctive colours of the period.
This one is a genuine example of a mid-1970s GT – one of the last of the chrome bumper cars, finished in Teal Blue, which is one of the most distinctive colours of the period.
It’s an older restoration, having had a mechanical overhaul in the late 1980s and a complete body refurbishment and new paint in the early 1990s, after which it was kept indoors by two separate collectors, so has held up well.
Off the road for over a decade, it has been partially recommissioned and is now being sold as a very light project, ready for its new owner to make the most of.
