The Appeal
The Fiat 500 Giardiniera is a classic Italian car that exudes charm and character. Offered as the estate car of the iconic Fiat 500, these practical little long-wheelbase 500s came in all manner of shapes for all manner of workloads. The Furgoncino - the Giardiniera's panel van variant - was perhaps the rarest, and offered plenty of conversion opportunities. One such popular choice was the Camioncino - the pick-up.
This particular pickup conversion has been professionally restored to an exceptional standard. The car has been completely dismantled and cleaned of old paint and rust, before being primed with an epoxy primer for corrosion protection. It has been resprayed in Avorio Antico, a colour from the original Fiat palette, rebuilt with new parts, checked and sealed. The suspension, steering and electrical installation are all new, as are the bumpers and bumper holders. The car is fitted with new 145/70 R13 tyres on restored 1970s 13" rims.
