Highlights
- Low mileage car with lots of history
- Classic Rosso Red paintwork
- One of only 547 RHD cars
- Engine rebuilt with photographic record
- Tidy and very usable car
The Appeal
The 308 was a very different sort of Ferrari. It borrowed the Dino’s 2+2 layout but clothed in a crisp Bertone design that cleverly resolved the competing demands of four seats and a mid-engined layout.
Only 547 genuine factory RHD cars were built and this is one of the last, a revised Series 2 car with updated aesthetics. Now finished in classic Rosso Red with a distinctive blue velour interior, it comes to market with a vast history file that includes photographic records of a comprehensive engine rebuild.
The car has been carefully dry stored in recent years and is said to run and drive well, but will need a check over and major service prior to any long drive. Interest in the handsome 308 GT4 is on the rise and this very rare, genuine factory RHD example looks like a good base for investment.
