The Appeal
They say you can’t be classified as a true petrolhead until you’ve owned an Alfa Romeo, and in that respect there may be no finer candidate than a classic GTV coupe. Automotive design hall of famer Giogetto Giugiaro worked nothing short of magic to create what is surely one of the most beautiful cars of all time. The GTV firmly cements itself as one of the all time greats on looks alone, but paired with a legendary twin cam engine it's easy to see why it is so highly regarded in enthusiast circles.
A later 1975 car, hence the “2000 GTV” model designation, JHU 427N is a truly remarkable example of the esteemed model. Having been subject to an extensive restoration at the hands of an Alfa Romeo specialist, this South African import is a real stunner, in great overall aesthetic and mechanical order it makes an ideal candidate for someone looking to scratch that Alfa Romeo ownership itch or add to a pre existing collection with a striking classic Italian coupe.
