The Appeal

Type 2 Volkswagens are some of the hardest-working classics around. Throughout the summer season, you'll spot dozens of them on the motorway, loaded to the gunwales with families and their camping equipment.

It's wonderful to see vehicles of this age being used in the manner for which they were originally designed. This 1974 Devon Microbus once embarked upon a six-month European road trip of mammoth proportions - the sort of journey many of us dream of making.
