1974 Volkswagen T2 Baywindow

Highlights

  • Striking scrapbook interior
  • Front disc conversion completed
  • Extensive paperwork and receipts for work completed
  • In need of a new engine

The Appeal

Still one of the most iconic vehicles in history, the Volkswagen camper is synonymous with free-spirited living and often very bohemian lifestyles. It's little wonder, then, that they often come loaded with customisations and creature comforts after decades on the road. This camper, 'Flo', is a particularly unusual example.

With its striking scrapbook interior and an unusual liquorice and mint livery, this camper has enjoyed a great many adventures out on the road - sadly, its non-original Subaru engine unit failed in 2020, and since then the van has been kept in a garage - ready and waiting to be brought back to life.

Once an engine replacement has been carried out, this unique Type 2 will no doubt become a much-loved companion for the open road.
