The Attractions
When the TR6 was unveiled to the public, the trade journalists of the day called it 'the last true sports car' and in many ways they were not wrong. At the time of its launch in 1969, no other car offered as much value for money and, in a market that was beginning to show signs of disaffection with classic British sports discoveries, it proudly and boldly continued the more traditional Triumph formula, albeit with a few updates and concessions to modernity. Today, its sharp, unmistakable lines still make it highly valued and sought after by enthusiasts.
This is a specimen of great character, which is in excellent condition with its original engine, ASI certification and its original booklets and manuals. It still has its original Rome plates and is ready to go. It represents the perfect opportunity to experience the unique appeal of a classic British sports car, one of the most enjoyable, fun and engaging driving experiences ever.

✓ We want a smooth transaction just as much as you do and as such we run all UK-registered cars and motorbikes for sale on Car & Classic through an online HPI check to verify that they show no insurance database markers for damage or theft, and have no finance owing, allowing you to bid with confidence.
✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed on Car & Classic and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.
