  • Recent cylinder head reconditioning and new spark plug threads

The Appeal

For so long considered a poor relation of the Porsche family, we’re glad to see the 914 finally received the attention it undoubtedly deserves. It’s no less of a Porsche for having Volkswagen’s involvement. Without VW, there would be no Porsche…
This 1974 2.0-litre example is one of the smartest and most well-sorted 914s we’ve encountered, benefitting from a substantial rebuild of the bodywork, interior and mechanicals. Despite the extent of the work this car has received, it also remains exceedingly original, even down to the finer details like the Becker Monza radio and factory-correct L96B ‘Alaska Blue Metallic’ paintwork. We also adore the Fuchs alloys - surely a must-have on any classic Porsche?!
The vendor assures us that this 914 runs and drives exceptionally well, noting: “I've been up to 90mph & it feels solid and safe.

Exempt from road tax, MOT, and ready to enjoy, here’s a great opportunity for fans of Porsche’s lesser-seen mid-engined sports car.
