The Appeal
It is hard to believe now, but original buyers weren’t keen on the iconic ‘boat tail’ design of the original Alfa Romeo Spider. There was a positive outcome though - the distinctive ‘Kamm Tail’ version, a design that stayed in production through three decades.
The 2litre Veloce was the most powerful version of these revised cars, delivering a healthy 130bhp from the legendary Norde twin cam. American cars like this one got ‘SPICA’ fuel injection that improved emissions.
It is beautifully finished in stand-out yellow, a colour that suits the car’s character and style. The paintwork is a quality respray with more recent titivation by the seller following the car’s arrival in Poland in 2021.
