The Appeal
The Volvo 145 first entered production in 1968, part of the already enormously successful 140 series. This five-door station wagon, for many, is a perfect summation of what makes Volvo so well-reputed. Sturdy, cavernous and easy to care for, it may well go down as one of the all-time greatest estate cars.
With only two former registered keepers, this fabulous example recently underwent a comprehensive body restoration carried out by Bentley-approved coach builders, Medcalf’s and Co of Chertsey, and now comes to us in fine fettle. This Volvo 145 Auto, with a large history file including the original sales quotation and order form, is one of only a few surviving 145 Auto's believed to exist.
