The Plus
Although German production of the famous 'Split Screen' bus ended in 1967, Volkswagen's Brazilian factory continued until 1975. That's why it's not unusual to see Split Screens alongside German 'Bay Window' models from the same year.
This 1973 model is a fine example. It's a Brazilian model from 1973, a top-of-the-range 'Samba' version with 23 windows. Finished in an elegant two-tone red and white combination, and fitted with old-fashioned wooden roof racks, this vehicle has all the charm you'd expect. Having benefited from recent mechanical and interior restorations, this is a quality microbus.
The seller states that it will simply require a service and a new MOT before it can be driven again.
