The Appeal
With Spring threatening to Spring, the snowdrops appearing, and the daffodils edging out, is there a better time to buy a drop top Beetle? Few events are as guaranteed to bring a smile to your face - and those of your passengers - as a sunny drive in a classic Beetle convertible.
The joy of these cars is that you get Volkswagen engineering, Beetle character aod quirkiness and space for four people. Even the hood, designed to perfection by Karmann, is easy and smooth to operate of the weather does get a bit ‘British.’
This handsome 1973 Beetle Karmann spent much of its life in the warm climes of Italy before being acquired by the current keeper from a specialist in Holland. She imported it to the UK a few years ago and has used it sparingly. All the servicing and maintenance has been done by model specialist Terry’s Beetle.
Retaining its original factory colour scheme - as confirmed by a helpful factory certificate - this lovely looking car looks very tempting.
